Masood Sadiq
Professor Masood Sadiq, is the Vice Chancellor, University of Child Health Sciences & Professor of Paediatric Cardiology, the Children’s Hospital Lahore. Pakistan. He was trained in UK at prestigious institutions like Great Ormond Street Hospital London and Children’s Hospital, Birmingham.
He is one of the pioneers who established paediatric cardiac services in Pakistan. He has over 140 research publications in peer-reviewed journals and >100 presentations as invited speaker all over the world. He has co-authored two books and written 8 book chapters.
He has been awarded “Medal of Excellence” (Tamgha-e-Imtiaz) and “Presidential Gold Medal” by the Government of Pakistan. He is the current President Asia Pacific Paediatric Cardiac Society, the largest professional and academic body of professionals in the field of congenital and paediatric heart disease.
